About LATFTP

Dedicated to showing the real Tea Party as it really is.

Here you’ll find the side of the Tea Party you won’t see on Fox News: White, uninformed, illiterate, bigoted, manipulative and deceitful.

Our aim at LATFTP is to be provocative and funny. If we succeed on both 80% of the time we consider that a success. But if we have to choose between the two we choose the former. We’d rather have people think about and discuss the endemic Tea Party racism at our expense than get a cheap laugh at theirs. So enjoy the humor for what it is – biting and mean. Or don’t.

It’s a shame to see so called christian white people behave in such a manner. These are the same people that would have called Dr. Martin Luther King, a communist! Conservatism in America has become a cancer. I’ll give them this…they really remind me of the Nazi machine in Germany, when they started their rally’s with the brown shirts, and quickly changed the minds of the weak willed. They have become very organized. The Republicans know they have a fresh batch of racism to feed off of, and keep their conservative constituency.

    • Woody Creed says:

Dr. King was a conservative and a Republican. So was Jackie Robinson. First Black Congressmen and Senators were Republican. It was the Democrats that stood in the way of Civil Rights Legislation. Democrat Robert Byrd was Kleagle in the KKK. It was Bill Clinton that said Obama should be fetching coffee.

      • latftp says:

So what do you think Martin Luther King would think of Dale “President And Founder Of The Tea Party” Robertson’s sign? What would Jackie Robinson think of it? What do you?

The southern Democrats who opposed civil rights in the ’60s jumped ship to the Republicans in the Reagan years. The Democrats were glad to be rid of them. A difference between Republicans and Democrats is that the Republicans not only welcomed these racists, they’ve embraced their strategy – the Southern Strategy – of race baiting to fire up the ranks and get out the vote. The Tea Party is one manifestation of that.

      • Tool Time says:

The koolaid is strong with this one………

      • JMM says:

Woody, stop trying to say that the Republicans are the ones who fought for civil rights. Only Idiots would fall for your play on words.

Nice opening comment. Inpirational. I’ll check out your site more tonight. 🙂

  5. You misinterpret (intentionally?). The threat is NOT, “If we loose on election day, we will take up arms.” The threat IS, “If Obama wins, destroys the US economy, collapses us with Mexico (hint: North American Union) imposes martial law and starts carting people who disagree off to concentration camps (hint: Operation Garden Plot, Operation Cable Splicer and numerous other Executive Orders), then he will face an armed insurrection against 200 million ARMED Americans!” If you can read and believe in science (vs BS), go research the truth about 9/11.

  6. jb kecherside says:

You know-it seems to me that this tea party movement is a desperate last attempt to consolodate white power in America. They see their numbers dwindling; hispanic numbers rising, a black president and a world wanting to see the end of the white power base in America whose only interest is money and the hell with the people. These tired angry old white men know when the minorities out number the whites, they’ll be tossed out on their ass, unless they can find a way to change the constitution to support minority rule. Hence, the desire for the Tea party’s wish to ammend the 14th amendment. If they can fundamentally change one element of the constitution, they’ll find a way to rewrite it in whole. Pretty soon, no one will have any rights and we’ll be living the life of fear and a new form of slavery. The rich and powerful are not interested in a middle class…they want to control the world. The man with the most toys becomes king. David Koch wants to be king and he’ll use his pawns and knights to aschieve this dream at all costs.

  7. jb kecherside says:

    hello

  8. matt says:

    Oh, the tea baggies!
Thinking they are being clever minxes by trying to cover up ALL that racism and bigotry with an ultra thin veil of fiscal conservativism.
The last time I checked the meaning of the word racist the word “patriot was not in the definition…

  9. Greg Camp says:

Since you commented on my weblog, I’m returning the favor. Let’s acknowledge that political discourse leaves much to be desired, although mud slinging and slanders have been with us for as long as we’ve had elections. I’ve been watching politics for some time now, and I can recall hateful things being said against our recent Republican presidents. It’s always easier to find the flaws and fallacies in our enemies than in ourselves.

Clearly, this site is devoted to the kind of name calling and foul language that I’d expect to find in an elementary school playground. Do you have a site in which I can find reasoned analysis of what the Tea Party proposes? I’m not interested in cardboard signs. Those are designed to raise a fuss. What about a discussion of policy and ideology? If you disagree with the Tea Party, give me your reasons.

    • latftp says:

Mocking bigotry is an excellent reason for name calling. If the defense of bigotry is no virtue, then standing silently by, as you have, only makes you complicit in the bigotry. You must first justify that before calling the motives of anyone else into question. The reasons for our objection to the Tea Party are implicit in every post on this blog; it couldn’t be more clear.

      • Greg Camp says:

I haven’t stood by silently. I write; I teach, and I talk. Asking for nuance and rationality isn’t complicity. No, I don’t stand on street corners with signs, shouting at anyone unlucky enough to be passing by, but I do my part.

    • JMM says:

Problem is that the Tea Party doesn’t really have a concise platform. Hard to comment or analyse something that doesn’t really exist! Anger isn’t a a platform and while I too want to reduce gov spending – eliminating half of the federal Gov just isn’t a viable option.

These people are just pissed off and dumb – hence the brilliance of this website!

  10. HCX says:

Dear latftp – I love this site. I haven’t had this much fun since the Palin/Couric interview.

  11. PatriotEagle says:

Fuckin stupid libtards. Your all about to be swept away by the Tea Party wave thats coming next month and your too stupid to know it. Dumbfucks like you dont belong in this country; Your stinking it up for good hardworking people. You hate this country so much than why dont you fucking leave and start your own stupid country for stupid libtards.

    • morvino says:

Boy, I wish the stereotype was not true, but man… teabaggers sure know how to A) fuck up the English language and B) imply things that are entirely not true (nobody said we hated our country, douchebag, I love the United States of America, not the bigoted, racist, intolerant, disrespectful, angry, and ultimately misguided fear-machine that has taken over an otherwise tolerable Republican party.) Hey Patriot Eagle, I work as hard as you do, I am a citizen just like you, I am Mexican just like I’m sure you are not, and I deserve to be here just as much as any white friend or fucktard is. Listen to something besides Fox News or Glenn Beck and you’ll see for yourself who the real enemy of the US is.

      • PatriotEagle says:

Who you calling douche bag libtard. Of course your Mexican. No real American would be hanging out at this site. You libs are are fucking retarded.

    • JMM says:

The Tea Party is like fart in the wild……………….making a big stink today, gone tomorrow!

  12. Jim says:

You lying liberal scum bags. These pictures were obviuously photoshoped. Its’ no wonder this country is going to the dogs when we have a America-hating president and retards like you making up stuff about the only sane people left in the country. Go to hell assholes.

  13. Chopper Jones says:

    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TEABAGGER OR REPUBLICAN• The Teabagger gets up at 6:00am to prepare his morning coffee. He fills his pot full of good clean drinking water because some liberal fought for minimum water quality standards. He takes his daily medication with his first swallow of coffee. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to insure their safety and work as advertised. All but $10.00 of his medications are paid for by his employers medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance, now The Teabagger gets it too. He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs this day. The Teabagger’s bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry. The Teabagger takes his morning shower reaching for his shampoo; His bottle is properly labeled with every ingredient and the amount of its contents because some liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. The Teabagger dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some tree- hugging liberal fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air. The Teabagger begins his work day; he has a good job with excellent pay, medicals benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards The Teabagger’s employer pays these standards because The Teabagger’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union. If The Teabagger is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed he’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some liberal didn’t think he should loose his home because of his temporary misfortune. It’s noon time, The Teabagger needs to make a Bank Deposit so he can pay some bills. The Teabagger’s deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some liberal wanted to protect The Teabagger’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the depression. The Teabagger has to pay his Fannie Mae underwritten Mortgage and his below market federal student loan because some stupid liberal decided that The Teabagger and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. The Teabagger is home from work, he plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive to dad’s; his car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his boyhood home. He was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electric until some big government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification. (Those rural Republicans would still be sitting in the dark) He is happy to see his dad who is now retired. His dad lives on Social Security and his union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so The Teabagger wouldn’t have to. After his visit with dad he gets back in his car for the ride home. He turns on a radio talk show, the host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good (He doesn’t tell The Teabagger that his beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit The Teabagger enjoys throughout his day). The Teabagger agrees, “We don’t need those big government liberals ruining our lives;

Great site! These baggers are fucking nuts.

  15. Val Veliz says:

I LOVE THIS SITE! Such a great resource and very, very educational. My students will learn a lot here. I know I feel as if my eyes have been opened after having the wool pulled over them by press, especially Fox News. Thanks LATFTP! Keep up the good work.

  16. Mark Thomas says:

Liberals have run all the big cities for 40 years. Into the ground. They destroyed public education, promoted crime, destroyed the borders to the country…which reminds me, would you make up your minds whether we need all these immigrants to do the jobs “Americans” (low/no skill blacks) just won’t do, or is there a crisis of poverty and unemployment? Get off the pot for a few days, clear your heads and think about it. I know, it’s hard to tear yourself away from MSLSD and your adult cartoons.
The white conservative regions are subsidizing you because they buy insurance and don’t cheat, They’re getting tired of paying for your fraud orgies in NY/SF/LA/etc. and all the illegals who would never bother with any nuisance like buying insurance. (and is driving drunk some kind of sport in Mexico?)
Reality is harsh. The whiter the state, the lower the crime, the higher the educational attainment. Spending has nothing to do with it, the liberal atrocity exhibition of Washington D.C. has the highest per pupil spending the nation and the worst test scores. Your vicious fantasy renditions of what you imagine white conservatives to be doesn’t change the inescapable realities that black America is a net liability entirely due to self-inflicted wounds, and that we are being overrun with illegal-immigration-fueled gang violence. I’m in a location in California where once there were no gangs, no tagging, and they didn’t even need a continuation school. Now there are two separate high school sites just to keep the primary Mexican gang factions separated after they have been expelled from the schools where the civilized people go (they like to shoot blacks too when they aren’t targeting each other, which astonishingly has failed to get the attention of the NAACP, the DOJ, or anyone else apparently).
Suck on your pacifier of the cable news all you like. Even if your hero wins the election, you’re still stuck with an errand boy for the NWO. You’re o.k with suspension of habeas corpus? Putting a kill switch on the internet? (it was designed in the first place for redundancy, BTW..by the Defense Department). The 1% you rail against got us into WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam….and Democrats fronted it all the way. (the backstory of this is why MSNBC would not let the author of “Family of Secrets” about the Bushes on the air–that trail leads to General Electric’s involvement with the Nazis.
The only genuine political alternatives have come from people and organizations that were systematically smeared as “extremist” “racist” etc. Look up the writings of Antony Sutton or the reviews on Amazon of “None Dare Call It Conspiracy”….if you had paid attention to these “right wingers” you would have known to buy gold at $300 or silver at $7 (like Warren Buffet did).

Hey–I thought those guys were going to give all their money away?!

  17. Great site. I’d like to exchange links – couldn’t find a way to contact you (I do not have an email client installed on my machines – i use hotmail only). Contact me please so we can provide mutual “exposure” for more traffic. http://www.filthyliberal.com — where conservatives go to get schooled.
